Ok, I'm pretty settled in my new room, which is at least twice the size of the room I had at the 305.
I can hear the guy (or girl) next door to me snore, which is obnoxious, but ear plugs are an easy fix for that. I still have some boxes and clothes strewn on the floor...but then again, when do I not? All the appliances in the kitchen are brand spanking new, and the apt stays at a constant temperature which is nice. I'm still discovering parts of the neighborhood. I sure am going to miss Isumi Sushi and Yoga to the People, but they are only a 20 minute train ride away if I get desperate.
Another great thing: I got re-hired at Sbux today. I'm working on B'way and 114 St. Come visit me! For those of you who don't live in NYC, its in the Upper West Side, and across the street from Columbia. It's a really nice area, mostly families and students. Not really any tourists (THANK GOD!) The store manager said they're really busy with students and classes. Which means weekends and holiday breaks are pretty quiet. So we'll see, I'll keep you posted on how I like it. Hopefully everyone is really cool and I get along with the staff (unlike *ahem* Santa Fe)
Oh, and Danny and Rocky are coming to visit V-day weekend! Best present ever? I think so!
So, I guess things are falling into place. Lets just see if I can land an acting job now! :P
